No. Don't do that. We told you what to do.
What's the problem? o_O It's in his own personal downloads directory. Instead of rename, try mc, select the file, then shift-F4 in a vtty, or shift-F6 if you're in a GUI environment (Konsole, Xterm, etc.). There's a lot less typing involved, less opportunity for mistakes, simply delete or backspace three characters, easy to redo if you do mess up.
