Hi, look at this mess:
$ rpm -qa | grep gpg-pubkey gpg-pubkey-29e3735a-5970c612 (...) The net effect was zypper requesting the same keys over and over again (while I've choosen "Always" as answer)...
I've removed all packages, that appear more than one time, with rpm -e -- allmatches now, anything else to do?

Hi Pete! Got something similar a couple years ago, when my rpmdb got corrupted. I tried several ways to recover it, but in the end I had to reinstall. You may be more lucky with the recovery (IF this is actually your problem).
