well dosbox and/or dosemu is a full virtualization. i have, but i do not remember what dosemulaion i have used, run "pc64" "THE!" ;-)) c64 emulation inside the dosemulation under linux. and this for sure was using graphic. (before i filed a bug to "vice" it was the only c64 emulation who has had working printer support.) now (at least at my last try about 2 years in past) vice was print fine.
Oh? I'm getting interested. I need to read about it, a howto for dummies. Perhaps there is a ready repository of old applications we can use.
Huh.. Nothing. <http://www.dosemu.org/docs/>
oh, by the way, the printer support of the dosemulation was not working /was not implemented, i remember there was a inofficial patch for printer support, maybe this is now implemented. have not tested any more, using now for c64 vice. up to now i have had no time to try some of my old dos games :-((( -- www.becherer.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
