[opensuse-support] How to access OpenSuSE Forums, etc. with IDP Portal?

So, after waiting forever for the migration dust to die down WRT the various OpenSuSE online resources, I'm trying to regain access. Since my old account is no longer accessible, I created a new account (IDP Portal Info) which is supposed to give me access, but then if I click on the Login widget on the Forums page it opens a new tab with e.g. https://forums.opensuse.org/ICSLogin/auth-up?url=%2Fforumdisplay.php%2F667-G... I fill in account name and password, press Login, and...I'm back on the Forum page, but STILL NOT LOGGED IN. What's the trick to making this work?
