Another thought: Can you switch cables between displays, run the 2560x1440 on HDMI and 1920x1080 on DisplayPort? With onboard video ports, CRTC enumeration usually assigns the connector closest to the board and farthest from the last expansion slot first priority. That would make your DP connector lowest priority among the four.
