I just did an online upgrade to a multiboot system with OS/2 from 15.2 to 15.3, and got stuck in emergency mode due to the failure to mount the /hpfs/G entry in /etc/fstab. Most files in /etc/modprobe.d/ are timestamped 6 July. 60-blacklist_fs_hpfs.conf has a timestamp from the zypper dup period, but it contains nothing but comments. https://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/Leap/15.3/ apparently addresses the subject erroneously. It says unsupported modules are in kernel-default-extra, but installing kernel-default-extra didn't change anything. I had to install kernel-default-optional to get the required hpfs driver. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Team OS/2 ** Reg.
