when connecting a device to the first (closer to the front) of the two Thunderbolt/USB-C ports on the left side. Is this a hardware problem or can it be a kernel driver problem?
Do you have authorized the access via Thunderbolt?
yes - everything works with the other two ports of the notebook.
Depending on which desktop you use this needs to be done in settings or on BIOS level.
I could not find anything on that topic at Dell so here's a how to for our devices as reference: https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en/Infos/Help-Support/Instructions/Setting-u... -TUXEDO-Thunderbolt-docking-station_1.tuxedo
Thx!
Regards, vinz.
