LaserJet won't print from this OpenSUSE-TW computer. (It did, but not now.) Print jobs get stuck in the queue. lprm will only remove stuck items one at a time--I thought that it would delete all the queues at once, but it won't. Root lprm -P (printer name) needed to clear all the queues one at a time. Ping of that printer produces an error:
doug@linux1:~> ping 192.168.1.29 ERROR: ld.so: object 'libesets_pac.so' from /etc/ld.so.preload cannot be preloaded (cannot open shared object file): ignored. You will get that error with anything you ping.
And anyway, the printer responds. You are correct, I get that same error no matter what I ping. Why?
Because of what Axel Braun said this morning, linker issue.
And why doesn't the printer print?
I would first correct the linker issue. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.2 x86_64 at Telcontar)
