Is there an app that will give one a list of all the available files in a repo?
A web browser.
If so, how are the repos named, so as to determine which repo one is looking at?
The URL in the browser tells the name.
There are a number of listed files that are almost identical, frinstance:
hamradio
hamradio:
And it turns out that neither of these is installable by zypper. What gives?
perhaps because they are directories that lead to repositories, not repositories themselve, ie: <address><repo.filename>.repo which you would then include in zypper, /etc/zypp/repos.d/<repo.filename>.repo then update the db zypper ref then list the files zypper sf -s -r <repo.filename> -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
