Hi Patrick!
What happens if you disable SAMBA? Did you never tested? May be SAMBA is a requirement in order the specific printer spool of Windows could be able to communicate with CUPS (?).
AFAIK you can set the printer in Windows either by using Samba or using CUPS. There was a web page with a lot of documentation on samba for openSUSE, where was it? I don't see it in my notes.
Not the one I was looking for, but read this one:
<https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Printing_from_Windows_to_Linux>
Thanks Carlos, I've already read such SDB but has not been useful to make th things work. It is still not clear if SAMBA being or not a requirement. Cheers, Marco -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
