Support,
journalctl --list-boots
only shows one entry. does 15.4 (that gotton upgraded to 15.5, zypper dup) not store journals for journalctl for multiple boots, or multiple days weeks months etc?
/etc/systemd/journald.conf
looks like a vanilla file all lines commented out after the comments except for one
[Journal]
thats all.
this system has plenty of disk space. is this normal? did i miss anything? default 15.5 install or 15.4 never keep more than only the current boot and its logs?
By default Leap does not enable persistent journals.
And you can change it by: mkdir /var/log/journal/ systemctl restart systemd-journal-flush.service -- js suse labs
