LaserJet won't print from this OpenSUSE-TW computer. (It did, but not now.) Print jobs get stuck in the queue. lprm will only remove stuck items one at a time--I thought that it would delete all the queues at once, but it won't. Root lprm -P (printer name) needed to clear all the queues one at a time. Ping of that printer produces an error:
doug@linux1:~> ping 192.168.1.29 ERROR: ld.so: object 'libesets_pac.so' from /etc/ld.so.preload cannot be preloaded (cannot open shared object file): ignored. That printer will print fine from a different computer (and a different OS.) Ping from the other computer shows no error.
I don't know what to do next. Suggestions? --doug
HPLIP provides granular control of your printer, including the queues.

HPLIP seems to require dependencies that are not available.
I'm using 3.19 on Leap 15.2. I installed 3.20.11 from OBS, which is the current TW version. Both run fine here. But you're on TW, I can't help with dependency problems there. Given your ESETS issue, I would focus on that first (see my other post). Once that is resolved, I strongly suggest working on getting HPLIP installed - it is a very good tool for managing HP printers. --dg
