Thanks for the reply. I got fed up a long time ago with the problems mysql was causing kmail (duplicate emails and troubles retrieving folders etc) and going to postgresql was a great solution so i've stuck with it. The problem i have now is only on one of my logins (I keep mailing list etc and my personal stuff on separate logins). I have no problems with akonadi/kmail in my personal login. I'll give that debuginfo a try regards Ian ------ Original Message ------ From: jslaby@suse.cz To: bingmybong@btinternet.com; support@lists.opensuse.org Sent: Tuesday, July 9th 2024, 07:54 Subject: Re: Akonadi crashing On 09. 07. 24, 8:32, bing mybong wrote: > Hi > > I have previously sent this to the kdepim-users list. > > I've had increasing issues with this to the point Akonadi does not load > any more (only on one of my logins)
I'm with BTinternet and increasingly over the last few weeks, it > occasionally reports a corruption with the BT internet IMAP but works > when you reload kmail. > > It now doesn't load at all and keeps core dumping. > > Can anyone tell from this journaltctl log what the problem is? > > https://paste.opensuse.org/pastes/5bf017867d16 > Install postgress' debuginfo and then coredumpctl info will give you a proper dump. And create a bug against postgress with that stacktrace. BTW why don't you use the sqlite or mariadb backends? That would be more tested, I believe. zypper -v in qt6-sql-sqlite -qt6-sql-postgresql regards, -- js suse labs
