You can just either file a bugzilla , comment in the package, or even do it yourself if you want.

Do it myself (yeah, I wish I would have these skills) is out of reach, but in the quest to enhance the existing, maybe you can elaborate on "comment in the package"? Doing this maybe is possible and, provided I am getting to a sound understanding what I am doing, I could learn/do it.
