I'm trying to pull down the latest Tumbleweed update via zypper -v dup I am getting almost no download speed. Going and looking at US mirrors I see there are almost none. Mirror brain is routing me to one that is seems slow to be useful. This is not my normal situation. Usually DL speed is just fine. As this Tumbleweed update is almost 1.5GB this could take weeks. What am I doing wrong if anything?
Living where mirrors are few and far between. I have multiple sets of repos in /etc/zypp/repos.d/. When D.O.O turns to molasses or worse, like today, totally useless, I switch to an alternate set. Today I'm using mostly gwdg.de, 5,000 miles across the Atlantic, but as fast or faster than Atlanta or Provo ever is. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is religion, not science.
