The list has been initiated to discuss the next generation of the libstorage library, which is used to prepare the disk set-up during the installation process of openSUSE distro. The list should be used to discuss the requirements for the storage stack (taking into account various hardware and firmware aspects as well as use cases for the storage stack), as well as the implementation itself.
