[softwaremgmt] rug complains about inactive dvd mount point
Having added the following service to zmd 4 | Inactive | ZYPP | Suse Linux 11.1 DVD | /media/dvd/ zen-updater always complains about the inactive dvd-repo not showing if any new updates are available. How can I stop actualization for the dvd-repo (mount dvd & service refresh: ok)? By the way is there any easy way to parse the history for zenworks as well? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+help@opensuse.org

Huh, zmd and 11.1 ?

Try to disable this repo with rug. Disabled repos in zmd are not 'off' (like in zypper) but give a low priority. Packages from such repos will only be installed if no other repo can fulfill the dependency.
By the way is there any easy way to parse the history for zenworks as well?
None that I know of. Klaus --- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+help@opensuse.org

Why is it not possible any more to add the repo directly as changeable media:
rug sa --type=ZYPP "cd:///?devices=/dev/sr0&alias=SUSE-Linux-11.1" "SUSE-Linux-11.1-DVD" FEHLER: Invalid URI scheme. Supported : http, ftp and absolute path.
How to disable a repo (looked twice, nothing found on man page)? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+help@opensuse.org

Which operating system and which version of rug are you using ?

Sorry, my fault. Its 'unsubscribe'. Unfortunately it has already been unsubscribed as not listed in 'rug ca'.

Hmm, looks like a SLE11 system I'd guess (and not OpenSUSE ?!). And like a regression, as you can only specify network or local (directory) repositories. So mount the DVD and add the mount point with rug. The current ZMD backend supports only FTP, HTTP or local directories only. I had to remove the sync option in Yast (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=480845) I guess it's rather a "feature" than a bug. -- Best Regards Ladislav Slezák Yast Developer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: lslezak@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 960 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+help@opensuse.org

AFAIK this is feature of ZLM and I think this is not appropriate mailing list to discuss this issue. Stano -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-softwaremgmt+help@opensuse.org
