Alternate FTP server to wuftpd...
Greetings, A few days ago there was some comments on the security holes in wuftpd. I'm looking to replace it on our SuSE 6.4 server, any suggestions for another ftp server? Are there update packages that patch wuftpd's security holes well enough? Thanks, Ryan -- Ryan Kirwin, Systems Developer Embedded Systems Development FedEx, Colorado Springs (719) 262.1606
I like:the combination of ssh, Secure FTP, www.xbill.org/sftp and gftp, gftp.seul.org for user ftp access and for anonymous ftp, publicfile, http://cr.yp.to/publicfile.html. Thank you Russell

I´m shure its a problem of netscape because it works fien with lynx and is less strange with "ftp", but ... -- \ J. Take a look at this http://libraftp.narod.ru/ Anibal
Hello, Ryan. Try porftpd. It's a real good replacement for wu(da horror)ftpd. I've been using it now for two years and I'm really happy withit. It's really simple to configure (apachelike syntax). Cya Jochen
