Most of the other linux distributions have released the kernel.
They have some security fixes.
kernel: ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/7.0/kernel/RPMs/ ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/7.1/kernel These are fixed 2.2.18 kernels. The 2.2.19 kernels should be available soon (I'm busy writing on the announcement - it's non-trivial). Or get the latest stuff from hubert's directory at ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mantel/next and recompile it yourself. Samba: I hope our maintainer will have it finished by today so that we can come up with an announcement before the weekend.

Which are the newest? I don't understand the versions. I see a 2.2.18-42 from Apr 11, by date the newest one. The newest modules are from Mar 5. Isn't is nessecary to update the modules, too? I expect problems with the version numbers (i.e. (/lib/modules/2.2.16 <--> 2.2.18). Additional I need a working freeswan.rpm (which works with 2.2.18).
The 2.2.19 kernels should be available soon (I'm busy writing on the announcement - it's non-trivial).
Have I missed that accouncement? I'm confused about the versions. Could you post a least a list, which versions are the newst, and which RPM solve the depencies (i.e. which modules.rpm, which freeswan.rpm and so on)? Thank you! oki, Steffen -- Dieses Schreiben wurde maschinell erstellt, es trägt daher weder Unterschrift noch Siegel.
