spamassassin --lint If you get a pile of rubbish falling down the screen it's not been configured properly. Some reading can be helpful.... http://spamassassin.apache.org/doc.html http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/spamassassin/branches/3.1/INSTALL http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/spamassassin/branches/3.1/spamd/README http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/ Troubleshooting your problem through this list can be useful but reading the above may help more. -- Richard www.sheflug.co.uk

Starting up spamd is not enough, you have to do something else, and it is not automatic as you have to decide which of the many methods available you want to use. For example, if you use procmail I'll tell you how. Or have a look at doc/packages/spamassassin/README. Also, you might get more answers in the normal suse list, not the security one. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFEF2GMtTMYHG2NR9URApu8AJ9X6F8vq5kAkjaBVWfGm1RD+jE0DACfW3mx rsoj6BlgOvjJIvkbDXw6kCU= =FfcH -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
