anybody know the proper command for iptables --list or --status on suse8.0?
Give this a shot as root. iptables -L > iptables.rules This will pipe all the output from iptables -L to a file you can view with your favorite text editor. :) * Susan Buczak (sbuczak2@comcast.net) [020929 11:07]: ::anybody know the proper command for iptables --list or --status on suse8.0? -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe.. My advice: Forget SuSE's firewall, and go to www.shorewall.net and use it to configure iptables. Way easier, Way more understandable, Way more configurable. Had it running in 15 minutes just following their quickstart guide. -- _________________________________________________ No I Don't Yahoo!
