YOU 9.1 SuSEfirewall attention please
Hello list, I've just performed an online update for SuSEfirewall2 on Suse 9.1. Personal settings was before update FW_MASQ_NETS="\ 192.168.100.0/24,0,0,tcp,22 \ 192.168.100.0/24,0,0,tcp,25" after update FW_MASQ_NETS="\ ## Type: yesno ## Default: yes 192.168.100.0/24,0,0,tcp,22 \ 192.168.100.0/24,0,0,tcp,25" If you try to restart SuSEfirewall2 it fails (of course). Next machine I will edit the file before restart firewall. Frank
This problem has been happening since at least SuSE 8.2 that I know of.

Leave out the backslashes, they are not needed. Writing 0/0 instead of 0,0 when you mean the whole IPv4 space may help too. Best regards, Arjen
