mod_auth_kerb and heimdal
Hi list Did anybody have success to authenticate against a KerberosV5 server (Heimdal) with SuSE´s mod_auth_kerb-Modul ? There seems to be no documentation for mod_auth_kerb in the SuSE distribution. :-( I have tried to configure httpd.conf like it is specified at http://modauthkerb.sourceforge.net but I always get an error: ... configuration error: couldn`t check user. No user file?:/ /etc/krb5.conf and /etc/krb5.keytab are installed correctly. Mirko .: .: there`s no rock like snowrock :: http://www.plasticivy.de <http://www.plasticivy.de/> :. .:

Did you try pam_krb5, which is included in 8.1? Olaf -- Olaf Kirch | Anyone who has had to work with X.509 has probably okir@suse.de | experienced what can best be described as ---------------+ ISO water torture. -- Peter Gutmann
