The announcment mentions netcape is affected. Does this mean Mozilla is similarly affected? Mozilla.org doesnt seem to have a "security announcment" page, so i cant figure if its affected or not. Anyone know? Elf.
Hi all I have a doubt about the ucdsnmp security bug. I need to upgrade my ucdsnmp package. Until a few days ago this bug was reported on the "Pending vulnerabilities in SuSE Distributions and Workarounds" section of the "SuSE Security Announcement" list. On the newer announcements, however, this note is not present anymore, but I still could not to find the new package. Is the new package already available? I'm using SuSE 7.3 professional. Thanks Luciano ps.: sorry the bad english. :-]

Thomas found another bug where interface names could be truncated, which
causes an overall malfunction. So we're building it again.
This is a nightmare...

Yepp, our Firewall Team found one more bug in the code which I fixed
yesterday. I think/hope/pray it was the last one so far and we could
provide you with a more stable and secure version of ucdsnmpd.
Bye,
Thomas

Taken from http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla0.9.9/: Mozilla's zlib library contains the fix for the zlib vulnerability. Note that some builds such as the Red Hat RPMs use the system zlib library and you will need to update this library separately. See the Red Hat Linux Errata Advisory. -- Cheers, Heiko Heil
