Hi, I just installed lprng and didn't found it more difficult or complex than lprold - espacially the lprng-HOWTO is brilliant. I think it is just a little bit different. But I'm interessted in the question which one is more secure. Stefan Nauber

Is lprold's suid bit more of a hazard than the complexity of lprng? Are there other issues I should think about when choosing what tools to use to print from a workstation?

I could not find any opinions in the manuals or faqs, so I would be interested in yours.
