[opensuse-security] how to check PolicyKit privs with SuSEconfig on 11.3?
Hi all, I'm running 64-bit openSUSE 11.3. In /etc/sysconfig/security, I see that "SuSEconfig can check PolicyKit default privileges." However, there does not appear to be a PolicyKit module for SuSEconfig, and I don't see any output about PolicyKit when I simply run "SuSEconfig". How do I get SuSEconfig to check PolicyKit privs? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-security+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-security+help@opensuse.org

Documentation bug :-) I've originally planned to integrate it in SuSEconfig but it turned out it's not necessary. Packages call /sbin/set_polkit_default_privs in their %post instead. You can also call it manually. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-security+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-security+help@opensuse.org
