$ uname -a Linux skorpion 2.6.4-52-default #1 Wed Apr 7 02:08:30 UTC 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Hi, I'm trying to enable SELinux in 9.1. It seems to be disabled by default: $ getenforce getenforce: getenforce() failed $ ls -Z Sorry, this option can only be used on a SELinux kernel. I've installed packages from ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/security/SELinux/9.1/i386/ and added selinux=1 to kernel command line, but it doesn't seem to help: Kernel command line: root=/dev/hda3 vga=0x31a desktop resume=/dev/hda2 splash=silent selinux=1 $ dmesg | grep SELinux SELinux: Initializing. SELinux: Starting in permissive mode SELinux: Registering netfilter hooks However, getenforce and -Z option fail as before. Do I miss something obvious ? Thanks for help, Jarek
