OT: unreadable postings in suse-security]
Hallo, Sorry that this posting is not security related. I have sent this message already to Gerd Bitzer, but got no answer.
Hi,
I can read only a few of your postings in suse-security with netscape messenger, e.g. -Re: [suse-security] ICQ File Transfers -[suse-security] rc.firewall
but not the three postings in the FTP daemons thread. They appear as empty mails. What is the difference between these mails? Could you send me the three mails in the FTP daemons thread as privat mail?

I have the same problem and I tried to view the sourcecode - NOTHING ;-) All unreadable mails are form Gerd Bitzer (don't know if the name is right, but I have deleted all the mails so I can't look it up). Bye Sascha Smejkal

Maybe the mail is broken by the standart footer from the mailinglist? That could be a reason for the broken mails ... maybe ;)

All unreadable messeges are signed, the few I can read are unsigned. Could you send me a signed messege to my email adress (blaesse@biochem.mpg.de) to find out if it is the netscape messenger or the added footer of the list?

I have the same problem. My Outlook 2000 told me, that his certificate was out of date, and the message couldn't be shown due to this... Maybe has something to do with this... Maybe... greetings Markus __________________________________________________________________________ Loose bits sink chips.

Same here. It seems to be messages that are signed with sort of pgp key. (just trashed it. Hi, my cert is from Thawte, and is valid from Mon Oct 30, 2000 to Tue Oct 30, 2001. That shouldn't be a problem ... Maybe Thawte isn't a valid CA in the database of your mailclient ? Philippe Wiede wrote:
