Hi All,
Does anyone know if glibc-2.2.2-63 is affected by http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-2002-25.html
Theoretically yes. But to our current knowlege the XDR functionality is
not used in the glibc itself and the utilities linked to it. We are still
investigating.
Of course, we'll publish update packages if SuSE products are vulnerable.
This would take some days of time for building the packages and testing.
glibc updates are serious and need special attention.
Thanks,
Roman.
