Hi
Right - it is there (on the web page) and it is even signed as Security Update.
But - why did it NOT appear on SuSE-security announce ??
Because some packages aren't built yet.
Same as with php. We will go online with these packages now, I've just
triggered them to go to ftp.suse.com.
Will be there within minutes.
Roman.

and what about the snmpd packages ? Christopher Mahmood posted on 22/02 that the packages were "almost finished". I'd just like to use mrtg again :) Regards, Olivier -- _________________________________________________________________ Olivier Mueller - om@8304.ch - PGPkeyID: 0E84D2EA - Switzerland qmail projects: http://omail.omnis.ch - http://webmail.omnis.ch

this has nothing to do with SuSE: it's rather a linux-specific thing... But sometimes it seems that suse needs more time to release the fixes (for example, the snmpd packages for debian, caldera and redhat are available...). cheers, Olivier -- _________________________________________________________________ Olivier Mueller - om@8304.ch - PGPkeyID: 0E84D2EA - Switzerland qmail projects: http://omail.omnis.ch - http://webmail.omnis.ch
Hello, everyone! I heard about latest PHP bug so I have decided to get latest versions of Apache and PHP. My system is SuSE 7.1 with both packages preinstalled. Now, I have successfully compiled and installed both new versions to apachedir and phpdir using ./configure --someoptions; make; make install. I can now manage to start new version of apache by issuing apachectl but apache doesn't seem to know anything about php, because phpinfo.php gives it's source. So, the question is how to connect these two installed packages? Best wishes, Pope

It's not security related - but anyway. You have to edit httpd.conf to configure it for php processing there are entrys like SciptAlias / AddType and so on related to cgi processing look here 4 further instructions - google is your friend ! http://www.roundridge.com/hs/apache-php-homesite05.php Yours Michael Appeldorn
