I send you this file in order to have your advice See you later. Thanks" It's 145kb large and contains ATT0003.txt (59B) and Adresse.doc.lnk (143kb) Anybody heard of this being a virus or worm? tia markus

Anybody heard of this being a virus or worm? It's the Sircam virus, highly dangerous for windows-losers, but not on-topic on this list. You can find more info on mcafee homepage, etc.

Looks like SirCam or derived one. If you are using OL then you should look into your recycle dir. If there are two hidden files then it is SirCam. I suggest going to www.free-av.com and download their latest util. It throws it out for you. hope this helps -rob
