If you install a .src.rpm, it is extracted to /usr/src/packages/SOURCE and the spec-file to /usr/src/packages/SPECS. You can rebuild the RPM by issuing rpm -ba xxx.spec (from the SPECS directory) or running rpm --rebuild xxx.src.rpm
