different packages lists at http://security.debian.org and ftp://ftp.debian.org/
http://security.debian.org/dists/stable/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/woody-proposed-updates/main/binary-i386/Packages Good day i found some differencies at this files: as sample i can not found last security update libc6_2.2.5-11.5 (and other glibc packages) at ftp, and can not found non-secure update debianutils_1.16.2woody1 (which exist at ftp) at http Is the updates, existing at ftp but is absent at http://security.debian.org/... really good updates?

According to a friend of mine who is using debian a few years longer than me, updates contains only updates from e.g. 3.0r0 to 3.0r1 and security only contains the latest bugfixes. But I guess it would be better to ask debian questions on a debain-sec list instead of the suse-sec list ;-) Thomas

the http site you quote is for woody security updates. the ftp site you quote is for _proposed_ updates to stable. Theres a bit of a difference. Definitely a question to ask on debian-users or debian-security lists.
