Hi all Just a dumb question: How can I found out where openssl is installed? whereis command sais /usr/bin/openssl, but this is not sufficient for squid 2.5 ssl support enabled. I'm looking for the headers and/or development directory. thanx Philipp

Try locate openssl if locate is installed on your box. CU Martin

Try locate openssl if locate is installed on your box.
That won't help much. rpm -ql openssl

Since SuSE version 7.2, the headers and stuff are in another package called openssl-devel. You need to have that one installed to link against libcrypto and friends. Peter -- VFS: Busy inodes after unmount. Self-destruct in 5 seconds. Have a nice day...
