There are no packages available for platforms other than i386.
So what happens to those of us who use suse on our sparc machines? IS there an update coming anytime soon?
No information yet so far, sorry. It would be wonderful if there was a
netscape sparc release compiled on a SuSE for Sparcs...
Roman.

Hi, I like to set proftp up to serve virtual hosts. But how do I have to create passwd-files other than /etc/passwd? Thanks Thom -- Everybody is talking about the weather but nobody does anything about it. -- Mark Twain ------------------------------------------------------------------- bye bye (c) by Thom | Thorsten Marquardt | EMail: THOM@kaupp.chemie.uni-oldenburg.de | Member of the pzt project. | http://www.pzt.de -------------------------------------------------------------------
I got this from http://www.proftpd.net/docs/complex-virtual.conf AuthUserFile /where.ever.you.want.to.stick.it AuthGroupFile /where.ever.you.want.to.stick.it What _I_ prefer to do is create a directory, let's call it /var/domains. Because I host multiple domains, I put the auth files in /var/domains with the name , and then create a dir in /var/domain/(domain name). It keeps it neat and tidy for me if I ever need to find anything related to the domain. Anyone have any other suggestions? so far so good. But I don't know how to create the AuthUserFile itself. Thom -- Sex is hereditary. Use LDAP: http://horde.net/~jwm/software/proftpd-ldap/ What is mod_ldap? mod_ldap is a module for ProFTPD that enables ProFTPD to do password/UID/GID lookups from an LDAP database. It is a mature, stable module.
