[opensuse-security] openvpn-auth-pam.so?
Hi, is there any reason why the openvpn.rpm (checked 10.1 and 10.3) does not include openvpn-auth-pam.so? The use of this plugin is recommended over the auth-pam.pl script for security reasons, as far as I understand. cu, Frank -- Dipl.-Inform. Oversight would be my first guess. Please open a enhancement bugzilla. Ciao, Marcus --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-security+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-security+help@opensuse.org
Hi Frank, Download the OpenVPN source, unpack, then go to the plugin/auth-pam directory and read the README file. You can compile the module and use it. Thanks A Frank Steiner wrote:

Yep, that's what I but did for now, but having it shipped with the SuSE rpm would be nicer ;-) I filed the enhancement request as Marcus proposed. Thanks! cu, Frank -- Dipl.-Inform.
