subnet unreachable. Great!
and you will get some information why this timeout can happen.
it's clear what it means. But do you know what happened to them? I checked other securityfocus www servers and they're online. Has it anything to do with Symantec's takeover of Securityfocus? regards, Philipp

Hi guys Securityfocus is a valuable resource for security that I've been using for years, it would be a catastrophe if it was gone. Being home of Bugtraq and all. It works again, btw but it's very slow. Could be they're under a DoS attack or suffer from other technical glitches. Maybe there will be an editorial about it soon.

Look the site up on www.netcraft.com and you'll see some real interesting info. There was an IP address change in Sept and a reduction from 3 servers to 1. Since then the server has never been up for more than a few days without a reboot. Think that says it all. John
