Re: [suse-security] how can i close port number 6000 & 515 ?
Hi! Wo soll denn das "-nolisten tcp" hinzugefügt werden? Ich mein', ist es ein Skript, welches den X-Server startet? Danke Vladimir. Uwe Kersten wrote:

Hi ! Try putting it in /usr/X11R6/bin/startx, the last line reads (on my system): "xinit $clientargs -- $serverargs" Change to: "xinit $clientargs -- $serverargs -nolisten tcp" startx is the script I use to start the XServer. If you use another command or script, add the option the same way. Hope this is right :-) Bye, Armin

Hi all! Better put it into $serverargs in the same script. There must be something like $clientargs="" and $serverargs="". Regards Uwe

Yes. If you run your X-server from xdm/kdm/gdm/wdm, then add the line to
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers
