Hi together, we've been busy with the kernel updates for the 2.4 series kernel on 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3. The preliminary result could be found in the kernel/2.4.16-20020325 directory of each distribution, but it has turned out that one of the fixes was wrong and could crash the kernel in some not so rare situations. Anyway: The new candidates can be found in kernel/2.4.16-20020416/. These kernels have survived our stress testing and will be officially announced soon. If you want to test them, please feel free to do so, and please report oddities to security@suse.de.
