Well, obviously it does drop packets. The windows machine is offline currently so my hands are tied. On the german general SuSE list i read some very similar article (the config is english anyway ;-) and in this case packets were dropped: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux/2004-Nov/2501.html
