I used to work with AIX where i have ACLs (base and extended) for files. Seems not to be acledit or lsacl commands here. Is there any implementation for doing this with SuSE Linux ? Thanks in advance -- Jorge D. Buchmann | jbuchmann@intraredes.com | intraRedes S.R.L. | http://www.intraredes.com

Is there any implementation for doing this with SuSE Linux ? Yes, with SuSE 8.1, getfacl and setfacl are implemented for the ext3 filesystem and xfs filesystem I think. Reiserfs doesn't work with it, unfortunately :(
