Please correct me if i am wrong, but i thought OpenSSL is a Serverpackage which runs on Servers and SSL implemented in Webbrowser just snatch at this implementation?! No, it also provides cryptography libraries that everything from web browsers to OpenSSH [can] use to provide their encryption.
