hello, is it right that saslpasswd2 stores the entered password as plain-text? if so, is it possible to change this so that the passwords are encrypted? thanks, juergen

Yes, this is the default.

Yes, but then you cannot use *-MD5 Authentication-Mechs. You are bound to plain and login then. -- Andreas
