Ich verwende die SuSE-FW2, und brauche jetzt noch eine iptable-regel, die mir die Pakete still verwirft.

Ich habs mit "iptables -A INPUT -i ippp0 -d 224.0.0.1/24 -j ACCEPT"

iptables -I INPUT -i ippp0 -d 224.0.0.1/24 -j DENY

versucht, das hat aber nicht so geklappt... wo habe ich den Denkfehler gemacht?

Append instead of insert, ACCEPT instead of DENY. The rule would have (silently) accepted the packets because no logs are written.
