I had to reload from scratch the other day and now when I get security updates I get the following error on the kernel from the stateside mirrors. Anyone know what the problem is or should I force the update? ERROR(You:RPM has invalid signature.) Never. Wrong signature is always serious. The rpms got probably download errors. The RPM never gets downloaded to my knowledge. I checked the /var/lib/YaST2/you/installed directories and it does not exist. The failure occurs with all the stateside locations. I wonder if this has to do with the fact there were initially more than one kernel update and now there is only one. It appears like there might be an error with Yast update information rather than the rpm itself as if the wrong checksum exists for the current kernel. -- Doug Glenn FORUM Information Systems http://wildhair.org

Maybe it will help to have a look at this: http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2005/05/rdassen_rpm_lost_keys.html Best regards, Markus
