Try WinSCP, it's freeware: http://winscp.vse.cz/ [snip] Regards, Martin Brecher --- And you all know, security Is mortals' chiefest enemy. Thx for the tip. WinSCP looks quite good, I will give it a try.

Also check out PuTTY, a suite of free Win32 SSH tools that has a SCP client. http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ But you won't SCP in the SuSE openssh rpm, however. -gabriel
Try iXplorer, work nice for me. http://i-tree.org/ Jovica -----Original Message----- From: gabriel rivera [mailto:defunct@urbanyellow.com] Sent: Wednesday, May 02, 2001 8:29 PM To: suse-security@suse.com Subject: Re: [suse-security] OpenSSH versus SSH

I happily use pscp to copy files to and from all my servers. pscp -r *.html nix@example.susesecurity.com:~/public_html/ happily copies my website up for instance.... Cheers --- Nix - nix@susesecurity.com http://www.susesecurity.com

Unfortunately WinSCP even though it is based upon pscp (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/) does not support RSA certificates, and like most security conscious people I only allow certificate login to my servers. There is an alpha sftp client (psftp) for windows available from the putty site, but it is still command line based, and VERY non-functional atm. Also the cert support has not yet been integrated :-( Cheers --- Nix - nix@susesecurity.com http://www.susesecurity.com
