Hi I've downloaded an Apache update from SuSE. It is for SuSE Linux 7.0. The version of apache is 1.3.19. Is this the right version against the new apache worm ? Apachetoday.com means that I have to upgrade to 1.3.26 but there is only a package for 8.0. Is this a special SuSE patched version ? thanks have fun Felix

As far as I understand it, SuSE is securing / patching older versions in order not to break an existing installation. Cheers, Andreas -- Andreas Otto <andreas@php4win.de> Using PHP on Windows? www.php4win.de

Could you please supply some details? You upgraded mod_ssl but wasn't working? What perl modules did you reinstalled? Anything from CPAN?! oki, Steffen -- Dieses Schreiben wurde maschinell erstellt, es trägt daher weder Unterschrift noch Siegel.

Suse does provide a updated mod_ssl. But they do not link on it.
What do you mean by that? Peter -- VFS: Busy inodes after unmount. Self-destruct in 5 seconds. Have a nice day...

If you tell us what exactly broke we might be able to work out if anything was wrong and what! Peter -- VFS: Busy inodes after unmount. Self-destruct in 5 seconds. Have a nice day...

There is nothing special about it -- it is version 1.3.19. Of course, all relevant security patches are applied. Otherwise we wouldn't have issued packages after the time the last vulnerability occurred. I assume you have read the announcement? Peter -- VFS: Busy inodes after unmount.
