Hi, I happily used ssh for a while, but I have to allow access to a Linux box from various other clients and many of them run on Windows.
Does anyone know if there is some porting of OpenSSH (or similar) for Windows or MacOS?

Hi Christian,
does anyone know a Windows ssh-client with scp features?
On the PuTTY homepage, you will find an scp client for Windows. See http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty.html for details! Kind regards, Ulrich Latzenhofer

Hi Ulrich, thank you for this link. I will check it today, but it looks like what I was looking for. Since there seems to be a discussion about SSH clients (rightly or wrongly), I thought I'd see if you'd be able to help me with a problem I'm having. I want to connect to my home box while I'm at college, but the problem I have is that the Win95 machines at college use a http proxy to connect, and the proxy server only seems to let http traffic through. So does anyone know of a windows SSH client that supports connections through http proxys? I've tried putting the sshd on port 80, but that doesn't work, I've tried using the NT binaries to the GNU httptunnel program, but that just gpf's. I'd really appriciate any help you might be able to provide. Thanks, cog -- ,------------------------------, ,==================| S H U N A N T I O N L I N E |=================, | David M.
