Hi, who can help to write a rule, which is able to block broadcast without logging. Actually my firewall block broadcasts, with the default rule. So which rule I have to write, when I like to move blocked boadcasts directly to default policy DROP. The logging shows me a message like this: DROP-UPD IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:42:00:3c:005a:bd:08:00 / SRC= 192.168.0.1 DST= 192.168.0.255 LEN=78 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=64 / ID=49651 PROTO=UDP SPT=137 DPT=137 LEN=58 Thanks for your help in advance. Wyh you don't specify a rule with target DROP, without logging? Did I miss something? oki, Steffen -- Dieses Schreiben wurde maschinell erstellt, es trägt daher weder Unterschrift noch Siegel.

oki,
Steffen
I tried this, but it didn't work. I don't know why, maybe I made a mistake. :-< I specified the rule with the -m flag. Do someone know, how the rule has to set? Thx Dominik
