I must be able to telnet from a terminal (not a console) as a root without
using su.
In solaris i could do that editing /etc/default/login file,but i can't find
it on this
Operating System.
How can i do ?
Thanks
The /etc/securetty file defines on which devices root can log in.
I think he means he wants to login from a remote terminal. A big security NO-NO, but if you still want to you can set ROOT_LOGIN_REMOTE in /etc/rc.config to yes. Stefan
